Tell us the story of Cookie and Mushu, how did you guys meet?
Mushu was the first ever pet I had on my own – I rescued him and from there I’ve essentially rescued another animal every year. The year after Mushu I rescued Cookie (a longhair tabby), then in the two years following I rescued Max and Bella (to add some canine sass to the clan).
What’s your typical Saturday morning routine?
I’d love to say that I get up and walk the dogs… but to be honest by the time I wake up my boyfriend has usually already walked and fed the gang. So I mosey out of bed, get a cup of tea (I’m not fussy when it comes to tea, so literally anything is good for me) then will usually make some avo toast for breakfast.
If you had £5 to spend on anything over a weekend, what would you buy and why?
Ummm, probably a cocktail… but I live in London so most likely not. But in an ideal world, a margarita from MNKY HSE would really make my day.
What’s your Saturday anthem?
It really could be anything, I might opt for a song by BlackPink though to get in the Saturday mood.
If you’re in a ‘treat yourself’ mood over the weekend, what would you do?
I really love Korean food. There’s some really great places in New Malden if you’re ever looking for something delicious.
Do you have any nicknames for either of them?
Most of my nicknames for them are in Spanish, my favourite probably being ‘Pancito’, which is Spanish for ‘cute bread’ – which is what I call them when they’re in full loaf mode.
