Tell us the story of your cats, how did you guys meet?
We’d just lost our beloved cat Oscar (who passed aged 20) and heard about Pharaoh who was being rehomed as his mum kept – let’s say – attacking him. We’ve had him for 12 years now.
If you could do anything for work – what would you do?
I’d love to help protect and preserve wildlife in a conservation area somewhere in Africa – I can’t imagine how rewarding that would be.
What’s your typical Saturday morning routine?
Pharoah typically wakes me up bright and early to tell me he’s positively starving, so no.1 priority is getting him fed. Then I’ll make myself a large latte and have a big bacon butty smothered in brown sauce (the only acceptable sauce to have with bacon).
If you had £5 to spend on anything over a weekend, what would you buy and why?
Probably a lottery ticket so I get that small chance to possibly open up a wildlife shelter.
What’s the main thing you look forward to on a Saturday?
Well, we have some dogs too (much to Pharoah’s despair) – but I really love taking them on a walk on a Saturday… which typically always ends at the pub.
What’s your Saturday anthem?
Undoubtedly it would have to be Daydream Believer by The Monkees to get me in the Saturday spirit
What’s a sneaky snack you probably shouldn’t feed your cat but you secretly do?
Would I be a bad cat-dad if I told you it was Chicken McNuggets?!
